RFP: Capacity Building for Economic Resilience

We are pleased to release this request for proposals for capacity-building for economic resilience. Community-based organizations in Massachusetts with proven success developing both affordable housing and economic opportunity programs are encouraged to apply for grants of up to $50,000.

Required attachments: 

RFP Clarifications and Corrections:

1) Attachment A – On the bottom right, where it says "Percent of projected 2015 income," it should read 2017.

2) Attachment D ("Work Plan") is a sample. The work plan dates should be from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018

Jarred Johnson, Millennium Ten Coordinator at Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation, spoke to Chris Lovett of Boston Neighborhood Network News about the Male Engagement Network. The group, created by LISC Boston to address mental health with men of color in Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan, will celebrate its official launch on June 10, 8:30-10:30 at the Kroc Center in Dorchester.  The event is free and open to all men of color.

Report: Increasing Ridership on the Fairmount Line

The Boston Foundation recently released a new report, "Increasing Ridership on the Fairmount Line." The Fairmount Indigo Network was a critical partner in identifying challenges and strategies for increasing ridership, including improving station access, reducing travel time to South Station, offering free transfers, and much more.
