100% of Asset Managers Gain New Skills at Nuts and Bolts Training

Twenty five community development practitioners participated in the Nuts and Bolts of Asset Management training on December 10 and 11, 2009. The course was sponsored by the Mel King Institute, and was the first in a six course series that will award successful participants with the Certified Housing and Asset Manager (CHAM) designation.

Introduction Community Economic Development A Success!

The Mel King Institute for Community Building, a joint initiative between Boston LISC and MACDC, sponsored an Introduction to Community Economic Development training held on December 4, 2009. The training was attended by LISC AmeriCorps members from the Boston and Rhode Island offices, and was organized by Boston LISC AmeriCorps member Jay Rosa.
